Hello All,

Yesterday in the 1st round of the 2nd tournament of the year on the Hooters Carolina Winter Series I shot 72. Yes that is a good round but I hit it so good and left a lot out there. I worked a little bit on the short game yesterday afternoon and then relaxed last night.

Today I teed off again early and was ready to go low. I hit it well again today and was happy with the outcome. I shot 70 but figured from the moment I made my 4 foot birdie putt on my last hole that I would possibly miss the cut. The cut ended up being 3 under par so in fact I missed it by one. I missed a couple shot birdie putts which would of been the difference.

For me I need to continue to build off the positives in each and every round. You look at my stats from the 2 rounds I played and I was impressed. I missed 7 fairways and 7 greens for 36 holes. If I continue to hit it in the fairway and hit greens then I know the lower scores will come. I am putting well right now and the key putts just are not falling.

I just got home from hanging out with a couple of the boys on the tour. I am going to get to bed soon and will get some much needed sleep after being up at 5am the last two days.

I am going to do a little bit of practicing tomorrow afternoon. Mostly just work on some wedges, short irons and putting. Hopefully after practicing tomorrow, I will still be happy with my game and looking forward to competing. If I do infact want to redeem myself for missing the cut this week then I will stay an extra week in Myrtle Beach and play one more tournament. After that tournament I would be home until the end of December.

Talk soon.

All my best,

Ryan
