Hello Everyone,

This time of year means that is a little bit colder, shorter days and some unpredictable weather. For myself I have been practicing and playing hard. I love playing golf this time of year because I appreciate and value everyday that much more because the season here in Kingston is coming to an end.

As most of you know, I did not play my best in my first 2 tournaments as a professional. I am not all discouraged from my rounds as I hit a lot of good shots that showed me that I am meant to be out here competing. The things I have to work on to me are minimizing my mistakes and making more putts. My swing is good right now and with my putting I feel as if it is something very small and easily fixed.

I played with some people that I am very familiar with in my first 2 tournaments and they both told me that I have the raw talent and short game to compete in the professional ranks. This defiantly helps me to stay positive and build confidence.

My next tournament is scheduled for November 2-4 in Little River Country Club in North Myrtle Beach, SC. This tournament is a part of the Hooters Carolina Winter Series. I will be heading down to Indiana, PA for the last week of October to play and practice. From going to school there I know their are many places for me to practice and play. The weather will also be that much better there. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of old friends, hanging out with my former teammates and spending some time with Coach.

As for right now, and most of you know, the McKeown and Proderick families are organizing and running a fundraiser for my golf career on Friday October 15th. I am very appreciative for them doing this and looking forward to socializing with all the members.

In advance, I would like to thank everyone for the support of my golf career. Every time I tee it up I am not playing for just myself but for all the members of Amherstview Golf Club. Amherstview has been a big part of my life since I was 9 years old and I cannot thank the McKeown and Proderick families enough for everything over the years. Without all the help, I would not be the golfer I am today.

Well I have to make a decision, to go to bed now and wake-up to watch the Ryder Cup or stay in bed and watch the tape delay. If I don't wake up then I will have to stay away from my computer and television so I do not see results from the Foursomes and Fourball matches.

See everyday at the course.

And remember, GO HARD AND NEVER GIVE UP.

Take Care,

RK
